2026 Utah Trafficking in Persons Conference (UTIP)

The Annual Utah Trafficking in Persons (UTIP) Conference in cooperation with the Utah Attorney General’s Office, the Asian Association of Utah and the Utah Trafficking in Persons Task Force will be held in the North Capitol Building at the Utah State Capitol on August 25th & 26th 2026 from 9:00 am—4:30 pm.  

This statewide conference is designed to train attendees on best practices to better support survivors of human trafficking and strengthen Utah’s multidisciplinary response to sex and labor trafficking.

National and local experts will present on topics such as trauma informed intake and screening, victims’ rights, using data to strengthen investigations, best practices when working with survivors with disabilities, case reviews and many others. The keynotes will be presented by Aubrey Lloyd and Cristian Eduardo who are nationally recognized experts in anti-trafficking initiatives and trauma and survivor informed responses. The Conference is free to attend, and registration is now open.
